Gareth Hives of Wales tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol and was expelled from the Commonwealth Games, the third weightlifter to be disqualified from the event at Auckland, New Zealand.
Federation secretary David Dixon said that Hives, who won three silver medals in the 100-kilogram class, will forfeit his medals.
