L.B. City College Wins 5-Year Accreditation

LONG BEACH — Accreditation of Long Beach City College has been reaffirmed for the maximum five-year period, according to the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The notice culminates a two-year project of self-study that involved more than 100 college employees serving on nine committees, said Dr. Beverly O’Neill, college president.
The college’s next comprehensive evaluation visit is scheduled in the fall of 1995.
