A state police investigation is under way into the theft and possible sale of more than $100,000 worth of season passes to Oaklawn Park race track at Hot Springs, Ark.
Maj. Doug Stephens of the state police criminal investigation division said he understood that 700 to 800 passes bearing sequential serial numbers were missing from the state Racing Commission offices in Little Rock. However, Capt. George Riggs of state police headquarters in Hot Springs said the total number of missing passes might be closer to 1,000.
