Flamemaster’s Profits Up Almost Fourfold

Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley producer of seals and coatings, said its fiscal first-quarter profit soared to $110,035 from $29,635 a year earlier.

The earnings jump in the quarter that ended Dec. 31 came as Flamemaster’s revenue rose to $1.12 million from $583,783. The company said its year-earlier revenue, originally reported as $965,867, was revised to eliminate operations that it had discontinued over the past year.
