For the first time in 20 years, New Mexico State has cracked the weekly Associated Press college basketball poll. The Aggies, 20-2 overall and 10-1 in the Big West, vaulted into the No. 25 spot.
Meanwhile, Kansas and Missouri switched places as the 1-2 teams. They will meet tonight at Lawrence, Kan., with first place in the Big Eight at stake.
