BREA — A female bandit who punched a 55-year-old woman after demanding her purse at gunpoint outside Brea Mall remains at large, police said Monday.
She accosted the unidentified victim in the mall parking area outside a department store late Sunday afternoon, Brea police said.
Although the woman willingly relinquished her purse, the robber punched her before fleeing, police said.
The purse contained about $30 in cash, police said.
The robber was last seen leaving the parking lot with a man who drove a gray Toyota Celica with a white front fender, police said.
The robber was described as being in her late 20s, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 135 pounds.
