The Oakland Athletics agreed to a new lease that allows the ballclub to move in 1996 or 1998 if the Raiders return to Oakland and sharing the Coliseum doesn’t work.
The agreement clears the way for a vote March 12 on the East Bay’s offer to the Raiders.
