$180,000 in Grants Available for Artists

PASADENA — The city’s Arts Commission will distribute $180,000 to local artists and arts organizations in its 1990 Grants-in-Aid Program. Organizations must be based in Pasadena and artists must live and work in the city.
Funding categories, with a maximum of $45,000 available in each, are organizations with budgets over $500,000, organizations with budgets under $500,000 that have been established for at least three years, organizations that have been in existence for less than three years, and working artists with proof of professional achievement.
Applications are available at the commission office, 150 S. Los Robles Ave., Room 420. The deadline is April 2.
