Salomon Bros. Retained by Hotel Investors : Hotel Investors Trust and Hotel Investors Corp., both based in Woodland Hills, said they retained the investment banking firm to explore the possibility of selling their two Las Vegas casino properties. The companies, whose shares are paired and traded together, have been trying to sell most of their assets since last fall, except for the Bourbon Street Hotel Casino and the King 8 Hotel & Gambling Hall.
