COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Golden West Wins in Softball, 4-0

Lisa Kaufman pitched a one-hitter to lead Golden West College to a 4-0 victory over Rancho Santiago in an Orange Empire Conference softball game at Rancho Santiago Monday.
Kaufman (16-6) struck out five and didn’t allow a hit until Audrey Jensen singled with two out in the sixth.
In another Orange Empire Conference softball game:
Cypress 5, Saddleback 0--Teresa Anderson had three hits and scored twice to lead first-place Cypress (25-3, 9-0) at home. Tricia Barr had two hits and two RBIs, Rose Ferrante had two hits and Collene Conahan had two RBIs for Cypress, which had 12 hits.
Sally Dugas (11-2) pitched a four-hitter and added two hits for Cypress. Saddleback is 13-16, 5-5.
