Camera Platforms International reported a fourth-quarter loss of $798,000, compared with a year-earlier loss of $884,000.
The slightly narrower loss for the quarter, which ended Dec. 31, came on a 43% increase in revenue, to $370,000 from $259,000, said Camera Platforms, a Valencia-based concern that makes production equipment for the movie and television industries.
For the full year, Camera Platforms lost $3.03 million on revenue of $1.5 million. In 1988, the company lost $4.71 million on revenue of $902,000, which included a $1.5-million charge related to a writedown in the value of certain assets.
