AT&T; Selling Terminals Business: American Telephone & Telegraph Co. said it is selling one of its terminal equipment businesses to Memorex Telex Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of a leading Dutch computer manufacturer. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition covers AT&T;’s synchronous terminal products unit, which includes a line of computer equipment used to connect various terminals and a specific line of mainframes manufactured by IBM or IBM-compatible versions.
