BSD Bancorp: The parent of Bank of San Diego, reported a record first-quarter profit of $1 million, up 33% from the $750,000 profit reported for the same quarter a year ago. As of March 31, total assets at the bank holding company were $437 million, up 17% from the $372 million reported a year previous. During its first quarter, BSD Bancorp spun off its Datatronix Financial Services item processing unit to shareholders and announced the sale of its 34% position in Borrego Springs Bank.
