Boy Shoots Himself to Death in Accident

Ateen-age boy was accidentally shot to death in a North Hollywood house Saturday evening, Los Angeles police said.
The boy, about 13 or 14 years old, was pronounced dead after paramedics arrived at the house on Wilkinson Avenue about 8:20 p.m., Lt. Stuart Maislin said. A female caller told a dispatcher that the boy accidentally shot himself in the head, authorities said.
The boy was in the house with his brother, also 13 or 14, and his 12-year-old sister, Maislin said. No adults were present when the shooting occurred, he said.
