Police Shooting of Drug Suspect Was ‘Shocking’
- Share via
I realize there are two sides to every story, and while I wait to hear the other side I find it shocking to read that a man (a suspected drug dealer) was fatally wounded by police officers while backing his vehicle from a parking place outside a market after completing a drug transaction.
After viewing the photograph in The Times of the four bullet holes in the driver’s side of the windshield, I wondered what threat Jesus Ramos Gonzales posed to those who found it necessary to kill him, rather than use other means to arrest him--not to mention the possible harm that could have come to innocent bystanders.
I hope the other side of the story can justify this action. In the end a family out there is without--a son, a brother, a father, a human being.
