Mid Valley ARC Wins 3 Titles

Mid Valley American Roundball Corp. won three age-group team championships in the Las Vegas Easter Classic on Saturday.
Crenshaw High’s Kevin Ollie, the tournament’s most valuable player, hit a bank shot with three seconds remaining to give Mid Valley a 69-68 win over Orange County’s Orange Express in the 17-and-under championship game. David Harbour of Camarillo scored nine points.
The Mid Valley 14-year-olds beat Slam-N-Jam of Los Angeles, 52-50, on a last-second three-point basket in the championship game.
Mid Valley’s 16-year-olds won their division title with a 72-65 victory over Utah.
