In Fribourg, Switzerland Team USA used a lineup containing only four NHL players and lost, 7-1, to Czechoslovakia in its opening game at the World Hockey Championships.
Chris Dahlquist of the Pittsburgh Penguins scored the U.S. goal. The U.S. team has spots for five more players and at least four are expected to arrive on Tuesday, when Team USA will play Canada.
