Traveling Picnic Table Can Come in Handy
How many times have you been traveling and not been able to stop for a picnic because there are no available tables and benches? Our folding travel table and stools can offer a solution to this problem.
When folded down, the table measures 47 1/2 by 21 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches. Just pack it into your vehicle and you’ve declared your independence from overcrowded parks, camp sites and roadside rest areas. When you reach your destination, set-up takes only minutes. The table comfortably seats four to six persons and measures 47 1/2 by 28 1/2 by 29 inches.
Step-by-step instructions with accompanying photos guide you in this easy-to-build project. A complete cutting schedule and a shopping list help to get you started.
To obtain Travel Table and Stools, Pattern No. 751, send $2.50. For those who spend lots of time outdoors, try the Outing Packet, No. C51, for $8 . . . six different projects from a picnic basket to a car bike rack (not including No. 751).
Both prices include postage and handling. Also available is the Patterns for Better Living catalogue picturing 700 woodworking and handicraft projects, $3.95. Send check or money order to Steve Ellingson, c/o Los Angeles Times, P.O. Box 2383, Van Nuys, Calif. 91409-2383.
