While providing good medical information about HPV, you have undoubtedly scared away the very women who need treatment.
I refer to phrases such as “. . . snipped away at her insides.”
Colposcopy was “horrible, just horrible.”
” . . . spread-eagle for nearly half an hour.”
Laser surgery like “taking napalm to your insides.”
” . . . smell so foul . . . feared co-workers would notice.”
As a nurse practitioner who daily deals with this major health problem, I find your journalistic approach unconscionable.
