GYMNASTICS EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS : Soviet Woman Sweeps Four Events

ATHENS, Greece — The Soviet Union’s Svetlana Boguinskaia, the current world champion, won all four events in the European championships Sunday, scoring perfect 10s in the floor exercise and balance beam.
Boguinskaia, 17, won the overall title Saturday, retaining her European title by winning the vault, floor exercise, balance beam and uneven bars.
She scored 10s Sunday in the floor exercise and balance beam.
Teammate Natalia Kalinina was second overall, followed by Hungary’s Henrietta Onedin.
