COLLEGE ROUNDUP : SCC’s Season Ends With 10-6 Defeat

The Master’s College defeated Southern California College, 10-6, in a National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics District 3 wild-card baseball game Monday at SCC.
SCC trailed, 10-3, before Denny Berni hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning.
SCC ends its season 27-22-1.
In a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. baseball game:
Chapman 11, Cal State L.A. 10--Chris Cutliff had two hits, including a two-run triple in the third, and four RBIs for visiting Chapman (31-9, 17-10 in conference).
Chapman’s Torrie Sweet had two hits, including a solo home run in the fourth, and scored twice, and teammate Mark Landeros had two hits and two RBIs.
