Driver Dies After Being Shot in Harbor City

A man died early Saturday morning after he was struck by a single bullet while driving through Harbor City.
The man, identified by Harbor Division police as Miguel Santos, age and city of residence unknown, died at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center shortly after the 2 a.m. shooting, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Officer Ed Ruddy said Santos was traveling southbound on Frampton Avenue between 257th Street and Pacific Coast Highway when he was shot.
Santos’ car continued southbound before colliding with another car at the intersection of Frampton and Pacific Coast Highway.
Ruddy said homicide investigators have not established a motive for the shooting.
