Westmont Assistant Hired by CC Irvine

Greg Marshall, an assistant basketball coach at Westmont College, was hired Wednesday to be head coach at Christ College Irvine.
Marshall, 34, was an assistant at Idaho State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before being hired by Westmont, his alma mater, in 1985.
The position, which Marshall will assume Aug. 1, will include fund-raising for the college, with emphasis on the athletic department.
