Costa Mesa Grand Prix to Feature 500 Bicycles

About 500 bicyclists are expected to compete Sunday in the Costa Mesa Grand Prix. The race, sanctioned by the United States Cycling Federation, offers more than $8,000 in cash and prizes.
The race begins at 7 a.m. at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Sunflower Ave. in Costa Mesa. The pro race, scheduled for 3:30 p.m., includes $3,000 in cash and prizes.
