Citadel Holding’s Profits Up 79% for 2nd Quarter

Citadel Holding Corp. reported that its net income for the second quarter that ended June 30 jumped 79% to $6.8 million from $3.8 million a year ago. Citadel’s earnings in the first half of the year more than doubled from $6.8 million in 1989 to $14.1 million in 1990.
The thrift reported assets of $5.1 billion on June 30, a 5% increase from $4.9 billion a year earlier.
