Intermark Inc.: The diversified La Jolla company, whose operations include manufacturing, retailing and real estate, reported a first-quarter loss of $6.1 million, contrasted with a profit of $15.9 million a year ago. Revenue rose 21% to $290 million. The firm blamed the loss primarily on its Triton Group Ltd. subsidiary, which had a $12.8-million loss in the quarter.
