Airport Shuttle Services: The owner of two airport passenger shuttle services called “Metropolitan Express” and “Metro Express” filed an unfair competition suit against competitor “Metro-Shuttle.” The U.S. District Court suit, brought by Laura Nelson Flaxman, says that her companies existed before the defendant’s “Metro-Shuttle” service began and that the competitor is trading on her companies’ reputations. The suit seeks court orders barring the defendants from using the “Metro-Shuttle” name and unstated damages, including punitive damages. (Filed July 31, 1990. Case No. 90-4026)
