LADIES HOME PRISON

Jack Smith’s “Ladies Home Prison” (July 1) was stupid. Why liberals keep suggesting that being a homemaker and caring for one’s family is an idiotic task fit only for the mindless is beyond me. It is a noble profession that requires more wisdom and dedication than a great many other professions that they suggest women should be groveling for.
For feminists to suggest that today’s abortion-on-demand woman--going from sex partner to sex partner, finding herself a single parent trying to outdrink and outsmoke the average man--is advancement for women is perverse. Women have been suckered into this philosophy and are paying a high price for it, as are men and their children.
