Festival Increases Budget: Los Angeles Festival on Monday upped its budget to $5 million. The budget was previously set at $4.7 million, but the financially struggling festival was helped with recent donations, including a $100,000 grant designated for performances at the L.A. State and County Arboretum. The revised budget also includes $150,000 from the Los Angeles County Dept. of Transportation, an increased projected ticket revenue of $665,000 and a $30,000 yet-to-be-accepted grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
