Mary Wells Ailing: Singer Mary Wells, 47, is receiving outpatient radiation treatment for throat cancer at County USC Medical Center. The former Motown chanteuse, who topped the pop charts in the early ‘60s with such hits as “My Guy” and “You Beat Me to the Punch,” is broke, has no health insurance and was evicted last week from her Los Angeles apartment.
