Zambri Falls in Amateur Golf Championship

Westlake High graduate Chris Zambri fell in the third round of the U. S. Amateur Golf Championship on Friday at Cherry Hills Country Club in Englewood, Colo.

Zambri, 19, was defeated, 4 and 3, by Tom Scherrer of Skaneateles, N.Y.

In Friday morning’s round, Zambri defeated USC teammate Bryan Pemberton of Dublin, Calif., 1-up.

The time and the location of today’s exhibition soccer match between Cal State Northridge and UCLA has been changed. The match will be played at 4 p.m. at CSUN on the field between the gym and the baseball field.
