Neighborly Thing to Do? Show a Little Heart and Soul

I am appalled at the callous, heartless actions of a few people against this woman being able to stay in her RV in her cousin’s driveway. As if this woman doesn’t have enough problems, enter her “neighbors” to heap even more on her.

There must be rules in any society, but there are times when these rules should be negotiated. The RV allows her some measure of independence, while also being near to someone who can help care for her, and no doubt, help share her enormous burden.

The attitude of these “neighbors” shows them to be morally bankrupt. To say that Linda Fisher is “flagrantly trying to circumvent the law” is ridiculous. Perhaps these people are more appalled and frightened by the vulnerability that lives inside the RV, rather than the RV itself.
