NBA Stars Meet in Charity Game Tonight

Laker guard Byron Scott and Utah Jazz center Mark Eaton are the captains of teams that will meet at 8 tonight in Byron Scott’s Challenge for Children Pro-Stars charity basketball game in the Bren Center at UC Irvine.
The coaches are morning radio personalities Mark and Brian of KLOS. The cheers will be led by the Laker Girls. And the proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Samaritan Medical Center-San Clemente and the South County Community Clinic.
Among other players expected to participate are A.C. Green and Vlade Divac of the Lakers; Clipper Gary Grant; former Laker Kurt Rambis, now of the Phoenix Suns; former UCLA player Reggie Miller, now of the Indiana Pacers, and Spud Webb of the Atlanta Hawks.
Tickets are $15 to $25 and may be purchased at the Bren Center, Sports Chalet Stores and Ticketron.
