Du Pont Turkish Plant Begins Production

WILMINGTON, Del. — Du Pont Co. said production has started at a new industrial plant in Ismit, Turkey capable of producing up to 50 million pounds of nylon annually.
The plant is part of D-USA, a 50-50 joint venture between Du Pont and the Sabanci Group, a leading Turkish industrial company.
