ANAHEIM : Police Seek Killer in Sidewalk Shooting

Police on Monday were looking for the person who fatally shot a 24-year-old Anaheim man on a sidewalk near a large apartment complex over the weekend.
Ariel Orrantia died after being shot Sunday about 9:15 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Lincoln Avenue, Police Sgt. Chet Barry said.
“We really don’t have very much suspect information,” Barry said. He added that investigators have found no motive for the shooting, or any evidence that it was either gang- or drug-related.
No witnesses have been located, but some people near the apartment complex told police that they saw a man on a bike flee the area after the shooting, Barry said.
