The Region : Bilingual Volunteers Sought

Bilingual volunteers in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese are needed for the Asian Pacific Older Adult Task Force in the San Gabriel Valley.
Asian Pacific’s outreach/translation project, funded by the Department of Community and Senior Citizens Services of Los Angeles County, will provide senior citizens with information on nutrition, community education and senior citizens’ events.
Volunteers will work with local senior centers, churches, temples and other social service groups. For more information, call, (213) 617-0033.
