The 10 candidates for three City Council seats are expected to participate in a debate Tuesday.
Among topics to be addressed are the Orange County Jail, the proposed new sports arena, high-density apartments, drugs, gangs, commuter traffic, schools and neighborhood improvements.
Candidates will have a chance for a one-minute response to each question and will also have the opportunity for rebuttal. Questions for the debate were submitted by the city’s various neighborhood associations.
Three council seats and the mayor’s seat are up for reelection on Nov. 6.
The event, sponsored by the Bristol Manor Neighborhood Assn., will begin at 7 p.m. at the City Hall Annex, 23 Civic Center Plaza.
