Suspect Identified in Fatal Shooting

SANTA ANA — Police have named a suspect in the Sept. 22 fatal shooting of a 17-year-old guest at a wedding reception.
The suspect was identified as Gonzalo Romero Romero, 24, of Santa Ana, Police Lt. Robert Helton said.
He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen driving a green, 1988 Nissan Sentra with California license plates 2LER103.
Helton warned that Romero may be armed. The shooting occurred during a brawl at a home in the 1300 block of South Rosewood Avenue in Santa Ana. One other youth was wounded.
