Tish Johnson of Panorama City became the third female bowler to win three consecutive pro titles when she beat Dana Miller-Mackie, 174-166, in the championship match of the LPBT Hammer Eastern Open. Johnson, who joined Patty Costello and Lisa Wagner in the record book, won the AMF Cobra tournament and the Columbia 300 Delaware Open.
