Santa Paula 17, Santa Ynez 10--Fullback Eddie Rabago scored on a three-yard run for the deciding score with 19 seconds left. Rabago’s run capped a seven-play, 65-yard drive that consumed two minutes for Santa Paula (3-2). The winning drive was keyed by Ben Fausset’s 50-yard pass to Ray Rodriguez. Fausset completed 17 of 40 passes for 296 yards.
Santa Paula’s Dustin Magdaleno, who caught five passes for 54 yards and a touchdown, has 122 career catches to break the Ventura County reception record (118) set by Matt Young of Santa Clara.
