Military Contracts: Cable & Computer Technology, an Anaheim company that specializes in upgrading obsolete computer equipment, has received a $13.9-million U.S. Navy contract to replace and update the A-6E aircraft’s mission computer.
Under the 4 1/2-year contract, the Navy computer will be upgraded to increase its performance, said Kirk A. Hollingsworth, vice president of CCT. Hollingsworth also said the company has received a $5.3-million contract from the U.S. Air Force to replace computers used in maintaining guidance systems for Minuteman nuclear missiles.
