* Valley Christian’s Mitch Bledshoe, who gained 227 yards and scored a touchdown as the Crusaders crushed St. Anthony, 34-14.
* Dion Tyler of Millikan High, who gained 211 yards and scored a touchdown in the Rams’ 20-19 loss to Beverly Hills.
* Joaquin Hawkins of Lynwood, who helped the Knights beat Cerritos, 20-0, by catching four passes for 72 yards, blocking a punt and intercepting two passes.
* La Mirada, Whittier Christian and Paramount, all 5-0, and Norwalk, 4-0-1, the area’s only undefeated teams.
Who’s Not
* St. Anthony, which lost to Valley Christian, 34-14, and dropped to 0-5. The Saints have been outscored 137-45.
* Gahr, which lost to Paramount, 33-7, and has lost its last four games since defeating California in the opener.
* Pius X, which lost its 23rd consecutive game to El Monte, 7-0.
* Lakewood, which had a nightmarish first half in a 30-8 loss to Los Alamitos. In the first two quarters the Lancers had an interception, a fumble, six penalties and two snaps that sailed over the punter’s head.
* Cerritos, which committed four turnovers in a 20-0 loss to Lynwood. The Dons have 21 turnovers in five games.
