CONEJO VALLEY : Cable TV Channel Sought by Schools
- Share via
Conejo Valley schools want to broadcast school board meetings, plays, graduations and educational material, officials said last week.
Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking an educational access channel, said Rich Simpson, an assistant superintendent.
In addition, California Lutheran University, Moorpark College and USC are interested in participating in an educational access channel, officials said.
Thousand Oaks has scheduled a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at City Hall to gather input from residents about their cable service.
Public comments will be considered by city officials in drafting proposed franchise agreements.
The agreements would replace those with Ventura County Cablevision and Falcon Cable TV that are due to expire Oct. 20, 1991.
