Continental Airlines Adds Routes: The carrier said it will begin service to South America as part of an expansion to three new Latin American destinations. The expansion routes will begin in December and originate at Continental’s Houston hub. The new flights will be to Guayaquil, Ecuador; Merida, Mexico, capital of the state of Yucatan, and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
