COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titans Put an End to Conference Losing Streak

Cal State Fullerton ended a Big West Conference 21-match losing streak with a 15-5, 5-15, 15-10, 15-7 victory over Utah State Tuesday at Fullerton.

Freshman Becky Howlett had 24 kills for Fullerton (5-20, 1-7) to increase her single-season total to 398, the second highest in Fullerton history.

In California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball:

Chapman College 3, Cal State Dominguez Hills 0--Debi Waller had 12 kills to lead visiting Chapman to a 15-10, 15-7, 15-10 victory.

In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s volleyball:

Christ College Irvine 3, Southern California College 1--Julie Glenn had 14 kills for host Christ College Irvine (11-18, 1-8) in a 15-3, 5-15, 15-10, 15-8 victory.
