The condemnation of the NC-17 rating by the Catholic bishops and the National Council of Churches is one more example of organized religion’s lack of logic in matters of morality. The church would rather fight than switch to rational thinking. No wonder atheism is winning the battle of sound minds.
The NC-17 rating is a good weapon against pornography and is a means of giving the public the right to see adult themes.
I doubt if the church as it is today will ever achieve maturity; instead, its fear of sensuality is psychotic!
