Glendale 28, Compton 7--The host Vaqueros scored three consecutive touchdowns to break a 7-7 tie.
With the win the Vaqueros improved to 5-2, 5-1. Compton is 0-7, 0-6.
Glendale running back Bobby Webster rushed for 130 yards in 25 carries to bring his total for the season to 1,007 yards. Webster scored on runs of 11 and six yards.
Glendale scored first, but Compton tied the score, 7-7, in the first quarter when quarterback Terren Adams hit Will Billingsley with an 87-yard bomb.
Glendale took the lead right back when quarterback Marco Arcipreste passed to Greg Thompson for 10 yards.
