Calnetics Announces 143% Rise in Net Income

Calnetics Corp., a Chatsworth plastics company, said its net income increased 143% to $185,000 for the three months that ended Sept. 30 from $76,000 a year before. The company’s revenues for the period jumped 123% to $3.48 million from $1.56 million, primarily because of Calnetics’ acquisition of Manchester Plastics Co. in September, 1989.
