3 Railroad Crewmen Hurt as Trains Collide, Derail

OREGON, Ill. — Two slow-moving Burlington Northern freight trains collided in northern Illinois early Sunday. Three locomotives and 11 cars were derailed and three crew members were injured, officials said. They said that one engine caught fire, but Oregon firefighters doused the blaze.
