Playboy Enterprises Inc.: The Chicago publishing and entertainment firm said first-quarter 1991 net income fell to $800,000 from $5 million a year ago, when it posted a $4.8-million gain from the sale of a subsidiary. Revenue edged up to $42.1 million from $39.3 million. Operating income totaled $400,000, in contrast with a $400,000 loss a year ago. Advertising and revenue from its entertainment group were up, while revenue from its product licensing sector remained stable.
